This slender and graceful tree with its decorative bark is known as Lady of the Woods. It is most suitable for parks, gardens and in woodland areas where the soil does not become compacted. It grows well on most soils and can be supplied as a coppiced multi stemmed tree. No deciduous tree is as winter-hardy as the birch. It has an impressive grace and beauty.
